Sober Living by the Sea offers high-quality residential programs specifically crafted for women by women in Southern California.
Addiction Treatment Programs Designed for Women
At Sober Living by the Sea treatment centers, we believe that women’s unique needs deserve a specialized treatment approach. Our network of rehab centers has been so successful because we use a variety of tested and effective methods to treat women who have been struggling with addiction. Our women’s drug and alcohol treatment rehab programs empower women to once again enjoy life without participating in addictive behaviors.
Sober Living by the Sea’s licensed professionals are available around the clock to provide caring and nurturing assistance for women from the earliest phases of supervised detox through primary care. When women who are suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, or co-occurring disorders check into Sober Living by the Sea, they receive a comprehensive diagnostic assessment and a customized treatment program that will provide them with an ideal launching pad toward recovery.
Sober Living by the Sea offers gender-specific care for women at two our of treatment centers: The Rose and Sunrise Recovery Ranch.
The Rose: Luxury Rehab Program
Specially designed by women, for women, The Rose’s gender-specific treatment program at our rehab center gives individuals an opportunity to heal in a safe and welcoming environment. Our wide variety of programs, treatment modalities, and clinical experiences have been developed to benefit adult women ages 18 and above. We strive to treat each woman as a whole person, meaning that our care addresses all physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual issues connected to substance abuse.
We understand that women experience both addiction and alcoholism much differently than men do, which is why we offer a women-only treatment program that focuses on their specific struggles. This program can help highlight co-occurring psychological disorders and family and social risk factors, all of which can manifest differently in women than in men. Our focus on care for women creates a compassionate and empathic environment not commonly found in co-ed treatment settings outside of Sober Living by the Sea. However, if a prospective participant is interesting in finding this same compassionate and empathic gender-specific environment within a co-ed program, we encourage her to consider Sunrise Recovery Ranch.
Sunrise Recovery Ranch
Sunrise Recovery Ranch is our co-ed treatment center nestled in the Southern California foothills. Sunrise provides initial detox and residential care for both men and women in a safe and comfortable setting. After a 30-day recommended stay in the residential treatment program, each participant will be guided into a lower level of care either with us or closer to her home.
At Sunrise Recovery Ranch, participants engage in a number of different interventions, such as individual therapy, groups, and experiential therapies. In addition, Sunrise has a lively alumni community that can be a source of support for participants in our programs. Sunrise Recovery’s weekly alumni meeting is popular among alumni who come to share their post-treatment experience and celebrate milestones such as earning a 90-day sobriety chip.
Although Sunrise is a co-ed treatment program, we provide gender-specific groups to ensure that female participants have the opportunity to receive support tailored to their needs. The gender-specific groups and activities of the Women’s Program address the unique issues that women face while they are first stepping into sobriety. Highly-trained counselors and group facilitators engage the women through lectures, one-on-one counseling sessions, and 12-Step meetings.
