Sober Living by the Sea has been treating people who suffer from substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders for over twenty three years. Our facilities are located in the seaside town of Newport Beach in Orange County, California. With innovative programs designed to meet the individual needs of every client and a world renown staff of addictions professionals, Sober Living by the Sea is about "living" — not just surviving by the seashore.

Our numerous programs allow us to provide individualized treatment for our clients based on age, gender, and drug of choice. We have programs that specifically address chemical dependency to alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamines, heroin, and prescription medications. There are programs for men, women, and also for mature adults. We provide the entire continuum of care from detox to outpatient treatment in one central campus just steps from the Pacific Ocean.

  • 90 Day Residential Extended Care - A program allowing clients to pursue a positive and active treatment for drug and alcohol addiction while living with other recovering individuals, and receiving lots of caring support
  • T.E.A.C.H. Program - Earn transferable college credits at Saddleback Junior college while in recovery. Includes counseling, tutoring, career assessment testing, computer lab, and transcript assistance
  • Sunrise Recovery Ranch for Men - An acclaimed thirty day all male residential primary care drug treatment center in the Southern California foothills
  • The Rose for Women - An exceptional thirty day womens drug and alcohol addiction treatment center located just steps from the sand
  • The Landing for Men - An exceptionally supportive and exclusive alcohol and drug treatment environment
  • Transitional Work Program - Clients can continue working while living in a caring and supportive environment to help them prevent relapse into their addiction
  • Outpatient Programs - Clients take advantage of all of the treatment offerings to help them recover from addiction while living at home
  • Family Program - When a client enters Sober Living by the Sea for drug rehab or alcoholism treatment, the entire family will be involved in the treatment process by attending workshops and benefiting from Sober Living by the Sea's world class team of clinicians
  • Reflections Program - Special treatment for mature, adult alcoholics that is customized for recovery of adults
  • Dual Diagnosis Program - For residents who require help with issues and disorders beyond traditional drug and alcohol treatment
