Grammy Winning Singer Bryan Duncan Visits our Morning Lecture Group

Bryan Duncan is friends with our very own Charlie Graham and he made an appearance at a morning lecture to the delight of the men and women in our treatment program.

Just another Monday morning at Sober Living by the Sea... the offshore breeze is clearing up the marine layer, the community is abuzz with people working on recovery and participating in process groups and recovery meetings... and Grammy Winning Recording Artist Bryan Duncan is entertaining our morning lecture group with songs and stories.

Bryan Duncan with GuitarBryan is an electrifying musician with one of the most soulful voices I've ever heard.  His stories were a riot and he was very genuine with his interaction with our clients.  He is an inspiration to all of us in the recovery community and I can't wait to hear more of his music.

As amazing as his music and singing was (Grammy worthy - of course), his message was even more inspiring.  Bryan has soul. Hes' been down a road that a lot of us have also been down.  He reinforced the spiritual nature of recovery and made me feel proud to have a sober musician in our ranks.

Brian goes back a ways with Charlie Graham who is the Program Manager for our Celebrate Recovery Christian Track. Bryan also has a recovery oriented radio show called Radio Rehab, listen to it here.
