Morning Meditation

Why we do it every day?
Why do we read the same thing every day?
What does it mean?

Why do people meditate? If you look up the word meditate in the dictionary you will find that "to meditate is to:"
1.   empty the mind of thoughts, or concentrate the mind on one thing in order to aid mental or spiritual development, contemplation, or relaxation

2.  think about something carefully, calmly, seriously, and for some time Gina F

3.  to plan or consider doing something

Why would an alcoholic need to start their day off with simple reflection and quiet time? Because we like to run the show and do things our own way. Every morning it helps us to get up and read the same pages over and over and eventually the message will sink in!
