Celebration, Connection, Consistency, and Compassion
On March 29th, Sober Living by the Sea, Sierra Tucson, Life Healing Center, and Bayside Marin hosted the 1st annual Heartbeat of Recovery event in Costa Mesa, California. This event was a celebration of the human capacity for recovery.
The event was well attended by over 80 people from the recovery community. The attendees included alumni of the treatment centers as well as clinical professionals who were in attendance to earn continuing education credits.
Phillip Mitchell’s workshop entitled Forgiveness and Beyond was an interactive experience that guided attendees to look within and remove emotional blockages that prevent them from experiencing the natural human states of positivity and love.
Kirwan Rockefeller, PhD.’s workshop entitled Positive Visualization made attendees aware of their inner potential to shape their lives using positive visualization. Kirwan’s interactive workshop included a guided meditation and discussion with the many participants.
