Staff
Sober Living has an extended staff that includes doctors, psychiatrists, and therapists who all specialize in addiction. Our campus is regarded as the most highly regarded and desirable treatment center to work with so we therefore get the men and women who've shown to have special talents working with the disease of addiction.
Sober Living by the Sea has gathered a network of addiction experts. Our staff includes qualified physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, Masters and PhD. level lecturers and workshop facilitators, counselors, nurses and other treatment personnel. Each member of our team brings an abundance of clinical expertise to our facility.
Outside doctors and nurses provide the initial psychiatric evaluation and monitor levels of medication. Case managers develop a treatment plan that will help guide the client and other staff in treating the individual. Sober Living by the Sea is a twelve step based program. Clients attend numerous twelve step meetings, obtain sponsors, service commitments and are required to work a program of recovery.
We are not trying to hide our clients from the liquor store or the drug dealer; rather we are trying to teach them how to walk by them. We offer the client a safe and supportive therapeutic non medical environment to transition back into mainstream living.
Our entire staff is in their own personal form of recovery. Therefore we have all experienced the difficulty of chemical dependency and coming to terms with recovery.
