Overview of All Programs
Sober Living by the Sea's substance abuse treatment programs have helped thousands of men and women who struggle with addiction reclaim their lives. With many innovative programs designed to meet the needs of those suffering from both substance abuse and co-existing psychiatric disorders, Sober Living by the Sea is about "living" not just surviving.
The Below Graphic is chart that shows the stages of treatment that men and women work through in our network. Everyone has different needs based on their unique history and current substance usage. We think that you should be aware that length of treatment directly affects the likelihood of good outcome (long term sobriety). Our treatment network has the unique ability to move people through various levels of structure and monitoring as they show a growing independence and commitment to sobriety. The more acute cases who are using a high dosage of drugs or are drinking daily (or constantly) will begin by going to detox and then getting treated in a primary care gender specific program for men or women.
Other individuals might be eligible to enter directly into our long term rehabilitation or "extended care" program. This is a co-ed program (all housing is gender specific in all programs) that allows a bit more freedom and ability to enjoy the Newport Beach location by biking and participating in therapeutic activities. There is quite a bit to wrap your mind around and many variables to consider so we strongly consider picking up the phone and calling one of our intake counselors at 866-323-5609.
